Compensation range: $75,613 - $81,113 Annually  

The base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.

Shift: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

The Operations Data Analyst supports and contributes to business analytics projects and processes to provide data-driven insights related to business performance. The projects are used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. Uses statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools, including dashboards, infographics, reports, and models to inform and support decision-making. Develops a good understanding of the business's model, objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

• Mines, processes, visualizes, and analyzes internal and external data using key performance indicators, business results, industry sources, competitor intelligence, and customer information
• Applies analytical skills to proactively identify and resolve operational concerns, such as inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement.
• Formulates techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
• Identifies and executes on opportunities to build efficiencies through streamlining data-related operational processes
• Presents data points through dashboards and centralized reporting to quickly highlight performance and opportunities
• Implements efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects
• Establishes rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders, etc.
• Supports others in the daily use of data systems and ensures adherence to company standards and security measures
• Utilizes critical thinking to determine specific data applications based on the project and business needs
• Produces reports and performs data extraction as needed
• Monitors and analyzes information and data systems, while evaluating their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)
• Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from data loss
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and authorized maintenance or modifications as they pertain to platforms used by the warehouse team
• Provides training to the team on data-related tracking, functions, and process updates as needed
• Supports tasks that are asked of by Operations Management

Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or institution
• 4 years of experience in data and analytics
• Knowledge of Warehouse and Inventory Control functions and reporting needs
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
• Experience or knowledge with industrial engineering is a plus
• Proficient in Google Suite; Data Studio, Tableau, and Power BI a plus
• Ensured accuracy and consistency through a meticulous approach to data analysis and reporting.
• Must be able to analyze and problem-solve, even with significant ambiguity 
• A firm understanding of deadlines and can demonstrate a sense of urgency 
• Proven ability to launch and maintain data systems
• Ability to work on and track multiple projects simultaneously              
• Technically savvy and able to ramp up on new analytic opportunities quickly
• Must have organizational, planning, time-management and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to develop creative solutions to operational issues and new demands
• Embraces effective decision-making skills, good judgment and can bring closure to problems
• Comfortable working with Google Docs and Microsoft Office in the same environment

Physical Requirements:

• Seeing, hearing, color perception, and clear speech
• Ability to move distances within the office and warehouse
• Complex reading and writing, good math skills

Working Environment:

• Is comfortable, but not limited to, working independently, over the phone and through email 
• Generally, works in an office environment with moderate noise 
• The nature of the work may require working off hours and significant time spent out of the office
• May be required to perform a job in an industrial work setting around powered equipment, vehicles, and heavy movement
