Position:                      Designer II – Req# 097339

Location:                     500 Davis Street, San Francisco, CA 94111

Responsibilities:           Produce and present design concepts to internal and external clients and advise clients on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout and use of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination; Support a variety of architectural and interior design project sizes and formulate design plans to be practical, esthetic, and conducive to intended purposes; Support/manage client’s design expectations and related experience; Meet with customers to gather project information (surveys, data collection, site observations, etc.), and collaborate with clients to determine factors affecting planning of interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, purpose, and function; Produce block plans, space plans, finish pallets, furniture specifications, and installation drawings; Perform field measures, product inventory and product research; and Perform project audits for other designers by inspecting worksites to ensure its adherence to the design plans. 

Educ./experience:          Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture or related field, plus 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience as an Architect, Interior Designer, or in a related position. Experience must include CET Designer, AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD 3D, Agile, SAP, Sketchup, NEODATA, Adobe Creative Suite, planning, designing and overseeing overall construction of buildings, extensions and modifications to existing structures and workplace space, Design proposals, project site evaluation.

Salary range:                $70,816 - $91,049 / year
