Location: Santa Clara, CA 

 

Hours: Monday-Friday, up to 24 hours a week between the hours of 8AM-5PM 

 

Compensation: $18.20/hr

Position Summary: Position is designed to provide a well-rounded educational experience with direct contact with One Workplace team members, clients, and partners. This is a paid, onsite internship for our Santa Clara headquarters. This is not a remote working opportunity, so please expect to come into the office when applying.

Overview/Summary

The Workplace Experience Support Intern will assist the Workplace Experience team in supporting and facilitating the employee and customer experience.  This individual is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment and providing hospitality assistance consistent with One Workplace culture and brand. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for events and engagements planned by the Workplace Experience Team including preparing materials, event setup and cleanup, and day-of event support.
  • Maintain working showrooms, meeting rooms, and kitchen. Ensure hospitality products are organized and stocked.  Ensure facility is clean and “camera ready”.
  • Assist with showroom changes, including packing and organizing spaces in preparation for a move or refresh.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Workplace Experience Manager or Workplace Experience Specialist.

Qualifications

Education

  • Must be currently enrolled in High School or College
  • No prior experience required

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance. Must be honest and reliable.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (or similar) and email.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Seeing, color perception, hearing/listening, clear speech, touching (dexterity)
  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Complex reading and writing skills, basic math skills

Working Environment

Job requires in-office presence. Regularly works with others face to face. Generally, works in an office environment with moderate noise.
