Compensation range: Base between $115-$130K

 

Location: Santa Clara, California (requiring 3 days in office)

Position Summary

Overview/Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate, strategic, and results-driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team while our colleague is temporarily out of the office. You’ll work closely with our Operations leaders to ensure HR initiatives align with business needs. You’ll support our employees to ensure they have the best employee experience possible. You’ll provide expertise in the areas of employee relations, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, and learning & development. The ideal candidate will be an empathetic proactive problem solver who is able to work independently and drive initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders and employees on all HR-related matters.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Drive initiatives related to employee engagement, talent management, and workforce planning.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues and investigations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with HR centers of excellence including Talent Management & Development, Payroll & Benefits, Safety, and HRIS to support business needs.
  • Ensure and support a positive workplace culture through inclusive programs that increase employee engagement.
  • Support HR compliance efforts and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the onboarding process during new hire orientations.

Qualifications:

 

Education/Experience

  • BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4+ years of recent Human Resources Experience including a proven ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification a plus.
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 

  • A diverse HR background, covering the areas and disciplines described above. 
  • Experience with various employee relations issues for both exempt and non-exempt personnel. Preferred experience includes investigations, conflict resolution, and mediations. 
  • Working knowledge and experience with current employment and labor laws, at the federal, CA state, and local/municipality levels. 
  • Able to understand and communicate the company’s programs. 
  • High energy, “roll up your sleeves” style. 
  • Highly effective communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to communicate in Spanish both written and verbal is highly desirable. 
  • Able to juggle frequently changing priorities with confidence and grace. 
  • Experience and comfortable in a consultative role. 
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
