Compensation range: Base between $96K -$110K

 

Location: Seattle, WA

Position Summary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

As part of the newly created Growth Initiatives team, you will conduct desirability, feasibility, and viability testing while working with teammates to foster rigorous and fast-paced learning practices. Your ability to balance analytical and creative thinking with hands-on execution will play a critical role in shaping the future of our innovation portfolio.

 

Concept Validation Testing & Experimentation

  • Analyze new ideas—testing their market potential, technical feasibility, and financial impact to see what sticks.
  • Lead the initial development of prototypes, proof-of-concepts, or minimum viable products (MVPs) to test and refine critical hypotheses.
  • Provide insights on cost structures, revenue streams, and potential return on investment (ROI) for proposed concepts.
  • Employ lean startup methodologies to minimize risk and optimize resources during the testing phase.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, market trends, and industry innovations to identify potential opportunities for new concepts.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner across internal business units to ensure alignment with customer insights and organizational objectives.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Smartly and intuitively connecting insights and execution, keeping growth efforts agile and customer-focused.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of business models and key financial metrics including: start up principles, experimentation and rapid iteration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Prioritizing work and effectively delegate tasks. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong judgement/decision skills.
  • Ability to create quick UI/UX mockups or wireframes, a plus.  

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in innovation, product development, entrepreneurship, or similar roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Design Thinking, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, pilot programs, or MVP launches.
  • Familiarity with tools like Business Model Canvas or Lean Canvas.
  • Previous roles in startups, innovation labs, or skunkworks environments preferred.
  • Understanding of or previous experience in the B2B industry, commercial real estate and design industry, a plus
