Compensation range: $65K-$85K

 

Location: Seattle or Remote, work hours will align with Pacific Standard Time

Position Summary

Job Summary (FF&E Planner)

FF&E Planner is a detail-oriented, entry level role.  Associate Planners assist the team on large and complex projects and manage small projects.  FF&E Planners perform direct client interface as appropriate.  They assist the internal team to maintain consistent results for client standards, procedures and protocol.  They aid in the development of projects, by providing research, field verification, product specifications, vendor communications, as well as the development of working presentation documents and client deliverables.  They need to feel comfortable building and maintaining successful and fruitful relationships with diverse co-workers and build a track record of successful projects. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Work with team to document clear project requirements, deliverables and deadlines to ensure expectations are fulfilled
  • Work closely with vendor partners to gather and clarify detailed information and develop customer mock-ups
  • Assist in developing customer presentations with an understanding of visual representation and graphic standards to create effective communication tools
  • Aid in the development of processes and documentation to implement across multiple projects
  • Engage in detail-driven research for solutions based on client requirements
  • Develop knowledge of commercial furnishings and equipment based on customer-specific standards
  • Research cost saving opportunities for clients
  • Gather and document program performance metrics for regular reporting based on client requirements
  • Develop an appreciation for design principles to all activities: function, balance, alignment, proportion, materiality, etc.
  • Apply a strong attention to detail to all documentation and processes, ensuring accurate and complete information

Skills/Qualifications 

  • Deadline-driven, self-motivated work ethic
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite required, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • AutoCAD or similar drafting software experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of floorplans and drawing sets preferred
  • Basic knowledge of commercial furnishings and equipment preferred
  • Basic knowledge of building infrastructure, construction vocabulary and building codes preferred

Education & Experience (FF&E Planner)

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferrably in Interior Design, Architecture or Project Management
  • Minimum of 1 year workplace experience required.
  • 0-2 years of interior design experience preferred.
