Overview/Position Summary

Provides remote and onsite technical support for One Workplace. Pro-actively supports user PCs, Backups, Documentation and Event Monitoring. Responsible for re-active support as needed.



  • Provide technical support to corporate users which includes desktop support and resolving helpdesk issues for internal and remote employees
  • Administer email, backups, virus protection, remote access, and security and critical updates
  • Maintains, upgrades, patches and provides ongoing administration of Windows servers
  • Participates in the design, architecture and implementation plans for server infrastructure
  • Provides technical support for conference rooms
  • Responsible for monitoring systems, metrics systems and corporate infrastructure tools
  • Maintains VMware environments





  • Associate Arts degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • 5 years’ experience with help desk support, or equivalent combination of education and experience



  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Experience with imaging computers and deploying system wide software to include; Antivirus, Helpdesk, VOIP softphone and others
  • Basic networking skills
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to work well with teams and with onsite and remote workers
  • Ability to make independent decisions with minimal supervision
  • Requires simple reading, writing and math skills

  • Seeing, hearing/listening/ clear speech


Work Environment

  • Regularly works with others face to face, via email, Skype or over the phone
  • Works with electrical equipment and may occasionally work in high places
  • Generally, works in an office environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise
  • Must be able to work off hours and weekends when needed
